Weld-Cut Equipment is a wholly owned subsidiary of Air Liquide, the world’s biggest Industrial and Medical Gas company and it is an ISO 9001/2000 accredited importer and supplier of a wide range of welding consumables, machines, gas equipment, protective gear and compressed gases.
First established in 1971, Weld-Cut has demonstrated continuous growth to its present position of having 8 branches strategically placed around South Africa.

The products currently on offer that have met the standard, are a range of MMA/TIG inverters with an option of either 160 Amp or 200 Amp in any colour, as long as it’s black. Also, high quality MIG wire (ER 70S-6) has been tested and welcomed by the market.
In addition, Weld-Cut Equipment has recently taken on the agency for SAF-FRO’s range of welding equipment with an eye on consumables and high end automation as possible additions in the future. SAF-FRO is owned by Weld-Cut Equipment’s parent’s sister company, Air Liquide Welding. This dynamic relationship will ensure a high level of support and co-operation due to the synergies created.
